KBR’s National Security Solutions team seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and validate electrical systems for defense programs. You will lead cable and wiring harness design, create schematics, and ensure robust, cost‑effective solutions for production and operations.

Qualified candidates have 8+ years of electrical design experience, DoD Secret clearance, and proficiency with OrCAD and KiCAD. Expect on‑site work in DC with some travel and overtime as needed.

Competenze

• Active/Current DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience performing electrical design on complex systems.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools. (OrCAD)
• Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical design efforts from concept through final production.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools. (KiCAD, OrCAD)
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and architecture documentation
• Research, design, and evaluate electrical systems to meet operational and performance requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures
• Design and develop cable assemblies and wiring harnesses, including routing, shielding, and connector selection
• Define harness requirements including signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and environmental constraints
• Support program schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation
• Participate in design reviews and support production and integration activities.
