Akima Infrastructure Services in the United States is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to design, evaluate, and review electrical subsystems, wiring diagrams, cables, connectors, and interface hardware throughout the engineering lifecycle.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline, 10+ years of relevant experience, the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance, and willingness to engage with cross-disciplinary teams on testing,

Design, evaluate, and review electrical subsystems, wiring diagrams, cables, connectors, and related interface hardware throughout the engineering lifecycle. Support systems engineering, integration, testing, configuration management, technical reviews, and installation activities while coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline and at least 10 years of relevant experience, including close collaboration in team environments. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; desired qualifications include a relevant master's degree, defense systems experience, electrical design tools proficiency, and familiarity with MIL-STD requirements.
