Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience performing mechanical design on complex systems.
• Active/Current DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience leading design efforts and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts from concept through final production.
• Research, design, and evaluate mechanical products and systems to meet requirements.
• Apply engineering principles to develop structural components.
• Solve technical design problems and perform system-level analyses.
• Develop mechanical and structural layouts using CAD tools.
• Conduct feasibility and performance testing on components and systems.
• Participate in design reviews and support production and integration activities.
• Work with a small team on fast-paced, short timeline projects.
