Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years OR advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience using Altium Designer or similar eCAD tools to develop and maintain PCB schematics.
• Experience contributing to design, development and validation of digital electrical systems across the product lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on board- and system-level architecture.

Responsibilities

Senior Electrical Engineer – High Speed Digital, Computing and A/V Electronics, located in Santa Clara, CA.

In this role you will architect, design, integrate, and validate complex embedded digital systems while working closely with cross‑functional teams to develop robust and reliable system architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, integrate and test an embedded acoustic and video system using off‑the‑shelf and semi‑custom components.
• Architect, develop, design, and test printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) of varying complexity.
• Own full‑lifecycle designs of PCBAs including design, technical reviews, prototyping, detailed testing, design and release documentation.
• Collaborate with multi‑functional teammates to develop robust and reliable architectures driven by simulation, analysis and testing.
• Deliver documentation such as technical reviews, test results, and theory of operations.
• Perform component, board, and subsystem‑level testing to ensure conformance to requirements, including EMI and ESD analysis, test fixture development and thermal analysis.
• Participate in design reviews and xFMEA analysis across the team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering or a related field with5+years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with3+years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing electronic systems in the medical device industry or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity working with embedded communication protocols and industrial networking technologies (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN, I2C, SPI).
• Strong understanding of Linux and real‑time operating systems, such as Ubuntu and QNX, and their application within embedded and distributed systems.
• Experience in system‑level computer design and design for electromagnetic compatibility and immunity, electrically fast transients and electrostatic discharge.
• Understanding of AV cards, processors and machine learning algorithms.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range:$125,000.00–$201,250.00.
• Eligible for an annual performance bonus and a long‑term incentive program.
