Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer in Orange, CA to join a multidisciplinary team focused on high‑profile buildings and infrastructure projects. You will design electrical systems, perform in‑depth calculations, and guide junior staff from concept through construction.

Travel to project sites and collaboration across markets such as Commercial, Federal, Healthcare, Higher Education and Science + Tech will be common.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with 6+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, California Building Energy Efficiency Code, UFC, ASHRAE and IECC.

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems from concept through construction administration.
• Perform technical calculations and design, applying critical thinking to resolve issues.
• Lead junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects.
• Attend owner/architect meetings as needed.
