Job summary

AECOM invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Northern California practice with a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. You will lead electrical design for a variety of building projects, including federal and commercial sectors, with opportunities to mentor staff and drive technical solutions.

The role requires a PE registration and deep knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and power systems. Travel may be involved as projects span multiple markets across the Northwest region.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering plus 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems from concept through construction admin and post-occupancy.
• Coordinate with disciplines to deliver projects within budget and schedule.
• Mentor junior staff and review work for quality.
• Attend client and owner meetings as needed.
• Stay current with NEC, energy codes, and relevant standards.
