Job summary

Avsar Construction Development, Inc. seeks an experienced Engineer IV – Electrical(Sustainability) to provide specialized electrical engineering leadership for sustainability and energy-related capital projects in Los Angeles.

You will guide planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout while coordinating with project teams, consultants, and utilities. The role requires deep expertise in electrical design, California codes (Title 24), NEC, and LEED/CHPS exposure, with

Qualifications

7+ years of professional electrical engineering experience in design, construction, or facilities.
Strong knowledge of California energy codes, Title 24, NEC, CALGreen and related standards.
Experience with electrical infrastructure assessments, load studies, and capacity evaluations.
Experience with PV, BESS, microgrids, EV charging infrastructure and BMS.

Responsibilities

Serve as electrical SME for sustainability and energy projects; provide evaluations and recommendations.
Assess electrical infra, equipment, and building systems for conditions and upgrades.
Develop assessment reports with findings, options, and prioritization.
Review scopes of work and support procurement with technical requirements.
Coordinate with utilities, consultants, and contractors on capacity and upgrades.
Apply codes and sustainability principles during technical reviews.
