Accenture Construct seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer in Los Angeles to lead districtwide sustainability and energy initiatives. You will provide engineering guidance to Project Managers, assess infrastructure, and perform load studies across buildings and systems.

The role requires a California PE license and 7+ years in design, construction, or facilities-infrastructure projects; on-site work with clients is expected to deliver complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Current California Professional Engineer license in Electrical Engineering required.
• At least seven years of professional electrical engineering experience in design, construction, or facilities-infrastructure projects.

Responsabilités

• Provide electrical engineering guidance, evaluations, and recommendations to Project Managers and the Sustainability Strike Team across districtwide sustainability and energy initiatives.
• Assess existing electrical infrastructure, equipment, and building systems to identify current conditions, performance, capacity, deficiencies, and upgrade opportunities; document findings in existing-conditions reports.
• Perform and review load studies, capacity evaluations, feasibility studies, and other analyses supporting project scoping, design, and implementation.
• Evaluate upgrade compatibility with existing electrical and building systems; coordinate with stakeholders to identify integration needs.
• Develop and validate technical Scopes of Work, requirements, specifications, deliverables, procurement documents, and evaluation criteria for design and construction services.
• Serve as electrical engineering SME for PV, BESS, microgrids, EV charging, building electrification, central plant decarbonization, lighting, smart controls, and related infrastructure.
• Review studies, designs, specs, submittals, RFIs, and change proposals to resolve engineering and systems integration issues.
• Support field visits, design/construct meetings, commissioning, and closeout, applying CA energy/electrical codes, Title 24, ASHRAE guidance, District standards, and sustainability principles.
• Onsite at client site: work is onsite with clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate relationships.
