Job summary

Triangle DeCon Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV (Sustainability) to provide expert guidance on energy-related capital improvements across the LACCD portfolio.

You will work with the Sustainability Strike Team to plan, design, procure, construct, and closeout sustainability initiatives such as PV, BESS, EV charging, and electrification projects. Qualifications

• Current California PE license in Electrical Engineering.
• Seven+ years of professional electrical engineering experience in design, construction, or facilities infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of California energy codes, Title 24, NEC, CALGreen, and applicable electrical engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an electrical engineering SME, providing technical guidance and recommendations to the Sustainability Strike Team across multiple Districtwide initiatives.
• Perform assessments of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and building systems to evaluate conditions and opportunities for upgrades.
• Develop conditions assessment reports with findings and prioritization considerations.
• Perform load studies, capacity evaluations, feasibility studies, and technical analyses for scoping and design.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify integration needs and constraints.
• Develop technical Scopes of Work and provide input to project SOWs for designers and contractors.
• Review and validate SOWs for alignment with standards and objectives.
• Support White Paper development and ensure engineering assumptions and feasibility findings are sound.
