Job summary

Charge Robotics in the SF Bay Area is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and implement electrical systems powering our robotic factory, enabling gigawatts of clean power deployment.

You will design, test, and validate power distribution, control circuits, and wiring; select motors, sensors, PLCs; create schematics and harnesses; and work with mechanical and software teams to scale to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on power and control systems experience.
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors, PLCs.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Startup experience preferred.
• Willingness to work in SF Bay Area at HQ 4–5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validate electrical systems for our robotic factory.
• Select and integrate motors, sensors, actuators, PLCs.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harnesses.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in factory and field deployments.
• Scale electrical systems from design to manufacturing and deployment.
