Job summary

Charge Robotics in the SF Bay Area is seeking a Senior Robotics Integration Engineer to work full-stack on hardware and software integration, deploying gigawatts of clean power and driving mechatronic system development.

You will integrate sensors, actuators, control systems, and industrial automation hardware, read schematics, and write documentation while collaborating with a fast-paced startup team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mechatronics, robotics integration, or automation engineering with hands-on hardware and software.
• Proficient in Python and able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience instrumenting, testing, and validating complex electromechanical systems; documentation and version control.
• Worked in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys hands-on problem solving.
• Willing to travel up to ~10% to field deployments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, document, test, and iterate on mechatronic systems for our robotic factory.
• Integrate and commission sensors, actuators, control systems, and automation hardware.
• Optimize interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and software components for reliability and safety.
