Job summary

Charge Robotics is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and implement the electrical systems powering our robotic factory and its solar farm deployments.

You will design, test, and validate power distribution, control circuits, and signal conditioning; read and create schematics; collaborate with mechanical and software teams; and scale systems from design to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in power systems, control systems, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for electrical design.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments and robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validate electrical systems for our robotic factory.
• Select and integrate motors, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other components to meet reliability and performance requirements.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs while establishing documentation standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in factory and field deployments, collaborating with mechanical and software teams.
• Scale electrical systems from design to manufacturing and deployment.
