Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT is seeking an Electrical/Principal Electrical Engineer to support the Sentinel program, focusing on electrical power subsystem design and integration.

You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, develop PDPs, review schematics, and ensure compliance with DoD standards. The role requires US citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance, with relocation assistance possible.

Qualifications

• US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with required experience (or advanced degree for higher level).
• Familiarity with industry/military standards and electrical design practices.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal program, customer and supplier technical exchange meetings.
• Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products.
• Develop LRU electrical and/or cable designs and PDPs through review and release.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams, data sheets and interconnect diagrams.
• Perform analyses, trade studies, and system integration tasks.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to meet design constraints and milestones.
