Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer in Roy, UT to lead electrical design for Sentinel facilities. The role entails coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, developing PDPs/ADPs, and reviewing schematics and BOMs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience (or Master’s with 2+ years or PhD with 0+).
- US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Ability to obtain SAP approval within company timelines.
- Experience in electrical design and cable/harness development.
- Familiarity with IEC, NEC, NFPA, and other DoD/military standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee ground design of multiple electrical components for Sentinel facilities.
- Attend program, customer and supplier technical exchange meetings.
- Develop PDPs/ADPs and manage review and release processes.
- Review schematics, wiring diagrams, data sheets and BOMs.
- Coordinate electrical system engineering across interdependent teams.
