Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Electrical/Principal Electrical Engineer to join the Sentinel Launch Systems Infrastructure Facility design team in Roy, UT. You will contribute to power generation, conversion, and distribution system design for weapon system facilities, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders.
The role requires a STEM degree and security clearance, with experience in power-system analysis tools (ETAP, PSS/E, SKM, PSCAD) and Revit, and a track record of
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (SAP cert possible).
- 5 years of power-system design/analysis experience with ETAP, PSS/E, SKM or PSCAD.
- Experience designing and testing ground and facility power systems.
Responsibilities
- Support electrical power generation, conversion and distribution system design and protection requirements for ground and facility power systems.
- Attend internal program, customer and supplier reviews to provide or obtain progress updates.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with diverse assignments and cross-level collaboration.
- Coordinate between facility electrical design and other integration teams.
