Job summary

Ultra Maritime in the United States is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I for our Seaborne Sensors & Systems team to design and deliver advanced electrical and electronic systems for maritime and defense missions.

You’ll own engineering activities across the product lifecycle—from concept to production—and solve complex challenges with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, mission-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of electrical/electronic engineering in a complex product development environment.
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems and make sound decisions.
• Strong collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, integrate, and test electrical/electronic systems for seaborne sensors and mission systems.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, detailed design, hardware integration, verification, and qualification activities.
• Work with systems, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers to meet requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
