Job summary

Ultra Maritime seeks an Electrical Engineer to design digital, analog, and RF circuits for cutting-edge ASW technology, including sonobuoy receivers and RF front-end modules. You will analyze, simulate, and test designs, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability for U.S.

Navy programs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to design reviews, and support transition to production while mentoring junior engineers and traveling up to 10% of the time to test

Qualifications

• Minimum BS Electrical Engineering and 4+ years hardware design experience.
• Experience with analog, digital, RF design, and/or signal processing.
• CAD experience for schematic capture and layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of digital, analog, and RF circuits for ASW technology.
• Conduct studies, risk assessments, and design reviews to meet specs and timelines.
• Create schematics and wiring diagrams; perform simulation and testing.
• Lead design reviews and produce design documentation; collaborate across teams.
• Support transition to production and mentor junior engineers.
