Job summary

Charge Robotics in the SF Bay Area is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and implement the electrical systems that power our robotic factory, helping deploy gigawatts of clean power generation.

You will design, test, and validate power distribution, control circuits, and integration of motors, sensors, and PLCs, while collaborating with software and mechanical teams to scale from design to manufacturing.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with power systems, control systems and industrial automation.
Ability to read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams.
Experience specifying and integrating motors, drives, sensors, relays, PLCs.
Startup experience preferred; strong communication skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and validate electrical systems for our robotic factory.
Select and integrate motors, sensors, actuators, PLCs to meet requirements.
Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs; set documentation standards.
Troubleshoot electrical issues with mechanical and software teams; ensure system integration.
Scale electrical systems from design to manufacturing and deployment.
