Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with remote-eligible status to lead power generation projects in fossil and hydro sectors. The role requires designing and checking diagrams, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and interfacing with DCS/PLC systems.

Qualifications

BS Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
10–15 years of experience in power generation projects.
Experience with fossil and hydro power generation.
Familiarity with utility processes (PG&E, SCE, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and/or check deliverables for power generation projects (SLDs, 3-line diagrams, AC/DC elementaries).
Coordinate electrical work with multi-disciplined teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Establish client relations and lead design reviews as required.
Communicate project and technical information effectively to stakeholders.
Travel to client facilities for field information and design reviews.
