Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on fossil and hydro power generation. Design and checking deliverables include single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and vendor drawings, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to meet time and budget expectations.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school, 10–15 years of experience, and a California PE license.

• BS Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
• Experience Requirements: 10-15 years.
• License Requirements: California PE.

Responsibilities

• Must back-check own work to minimize rework.
• Duties may also include administrative & various support activities related to an engineering office environment.
• Travel to client facilities for the purpose of gathering field information and participating in design review meetings/other may be required.
• Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to understand and apply engineering design principles.
• Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
• Possess willingness to accept responsibility.
• Ability to work on high performance teams.
