Job summary
Lake Superior Consulting seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Generation to lead complex electrical design projects from concept through execution. You will guide teams across Oil & Gas, Renewables, data centers, and industrial facilities, coordinating with clients and vendors to deliver practical engineering solutions.
You will provide mentorship, uphold NEC/IEEE/API standards, and drive business growth while traveling 10% for site visits and meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience in technical leadership roles.
- Direct experience with industrial facilities.
- Experience using SKM or ETAP; NEC/NFPA/IEEE/API/AGA knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Lead moderate to large electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery.
- Serve as technical lead and make decisions on complex issues.
- Develop and oversee power system designs, controls, calculations and reports.
- Design electrical service interconnects with local utilities.
- Prepare procurement specifications for equipment; oversee testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with stakeholders.
