What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Serve as a project task manager or lead discipline engineer on electrical and I&C projects
  2. Scope and budget projects while coordinating staff assignments
  3. Manage and execute electrical designs to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
  4. Mentor junior and midlevel electrical and I&C engineers and designers
  5. Collaborate with a national team of technical experts in the Electrical and I&C group

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  2. Professional registration or the ability to obtain within 6 months
  3. Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer in water and wastewater industries
  4. Proficiency in power system software design and modeling (SKM, ETAP, EasyPower)
  5. Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code and electrical safety systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Over 15 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in government, municipal, or industrial water and wastewater industries
  2. Experience in Design Build project delivery
  3. Additional industry certifications (PMP, LEED, CESCP)
  4. Knowledge of renewable and alternative energy design (solar, wind, cogeneration)
