Job summary

Valero Ardmore Refinery is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide and coordinate electrical engineering services for refinery projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, safety and energy efficiency. You will support maintenance and operations to maximize reliability of the Refinery Electrical System and lead capital projects with strong technical leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of related experience, with expertise in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
5 years of related experience required.
Experience in electrical distribution up to 12.47KV, industrial cogeneration above 10MW, large project execution and protective relay coordination.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical engineering services for maintenance and capital projects to ensure reliability and safety of refinery electrical systems.
Perform and coordinate testing, inspection and troubleshooting for refinery electrical systems.
Prepare and submit MOC documentation and champion the change process through PSC, startup and closeout phases.
Develop and implement strategies to improve plant electrical reliability and update SKM models as changes occur.
Oversee all phases of electrical work on maintenance and capital projects and provide technical liaison with utility partners.
