Job summary

TKDA is seeking a Senior Professional Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for industrial facilities and site systems, working with multi-disciplinary teams across the country.

You will scope, develop, and review site plans, power/distribution, lighting, and control systems, while guiding construction administration and QA. Opportunity to mentor and drive client engagements in a Seller-Doer environment.

Qualifications

• PE licensure with 10+ years of progressive technical design experience in industrial facility/site power distribution, lighting, and control/signal systems.
• Experience coordinating design standards across Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, and Structural disciplines.
• Leadership of electrical or multi-disciplinary projects with service fees >$300k/year.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, and MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead the electrical engineering side of projects, developing site plans, power/signal/lighting plans, equipment layouts, one-lines, industrial controls, assessments, and reports.
• Support construction administration, interpret plans, observe construction, and confirm conformity to plans, specs, and schedule.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to staff development.
• Lead proposals, client relationships, opportunity tracking, and presentations with leadership.
