Job summary

Actalent, a Seattle-based MEP consulting firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer with strong project management to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive technical excellence across Seattle and WA offices.

You will serve as Lead Engineer or Engineer of Record, mentor junior staff, manage budgets and timelines, cultivate client relationships, present technical content, and help shape standards and workflows while upholding the Quality Management Plan for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years in building systems design.
• Professional credential (PE, CPD, or RCDD).
• Proven leadership in engineering and project management roles.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Experience delivering profitable, efficient projects.
• Proficient in project billing, reporting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Proficient in MS Office, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Serve as Lead Engineer and/or Engineer of Record (EOR).
• Enhance operational efficiency and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in project interviews and represent the firm.
• Communicate design concepts to clients and teams.
• Build and maintain client relationships through engagement.
• Present technical content to clients, staff, and industry events.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff development.
• Shape and refine company standards and workflows.
• Uphold and enforce the project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Perform additional duties as needed.
