Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Production Support to collaborate with Manufacturing, Program Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues in a timely manner. The role supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor program and requires the ability to travel to facilities up to 25% of the time.

Candidates should have a STEM degree, 5+ years in related engineering roles, and the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance. On-site work in Plano, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 5 years in production support, test, supplier quality, electrical or network engineering.
• Experience analyzing data/schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and delivering to schedule.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance within 1 year; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical evaluations of hardware and categorize failures for disposition.
• Prioritize and drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Communicate status updates on hardware failures, repairs, and shipment timelines to program leadership.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, Production Control to ensure timely delivery for supplier rework/repair.
• Serve as main technical contact for key suppliers and identify capability gaps.
