Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its McHenry, MS Solid Rocket Motor plant. You will own electrical design and compliance, supporting high-rate production and scalable power systems.

Role requires deep NFPA 70/70E knowledge, experience with industrial power distribution, and a U.S. person eligible for access to export-controlled information. You will collaborate with facilities, construction, and outside engineers to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
4+ years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial or production environment.
Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.
Experience with industrial power distribution including transformers, panelboards, circuit protection, and grounding.
Proficient with electrical component selection, wire sizing, circuit protection, and heat management in control cabinets.
Experience producing and reviewing electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
Electrical troubleshooting up to 600VAC.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical design and design review for production equipment and facility power at Anduril’s Solid Rocket Motor plant in McHenry, MS.
Apply and help maintain internal electrical standards, drawing conventions, and code compliance across the facility.
Review and red-line contractor and integrator electrical packages, including panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and load calculations.
Coordinate with facilities, construction, and outside engineering firms on power distribution, branch circuits, grounding, and equipment hookup.
Specify electrical equipment including transformers, disconnects, breakers, VFD feeds, and control power for new and modified production lines.
Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, and hazardous location requirements for energetic material handling areas.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical failures, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term reliability.
