Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Rocket Motor Systems in McHenry, MS. You will own electrical design and compliance for production equipment and facility power, ensuring safe, scalable power systems and adherence to NFPA standards.

You will review contractor packages, coordinate with facilities and outside engineers, and drive improvements for reliability and uptime in a high-rate production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial or production setting.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.
• Experience with industrial power distribution including transformers, panelboards, circuit protection, and grounding.
• Proficient in selecting electrical components, wire sizing, circuit protection, and heat management in control cabinets.
• Experience producing and reviewing electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design and design review for production equipment and facility power.
• Maintain internal electrical standards, drawing conventions, and code compliance.
• Review contractor and integrator electrical packages (panels, diagrams, load calculations).
• Coordinate with facilities, construction, and external firms on power distribution and grounding.
• Specify electrical equipment for new and modified production lines.
• Ensure NEC and hazardous location compliance for energetic material handling areas.
• Lead root cause analysis for electrical failures and ensure rapid resolution and reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements.
