Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Rochester, NY seeks a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer to join a team supporting military communication products across their lifecycle.

You will investigate analog, digital and RF issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions from lab to production. Candidates with hands-on circuit skills, LabVIEW/Jira familiarity, and the ability to lead small design or troubleshooting efforts will excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s EE Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily factory yields, investigate failures and determine corrective actions.
• Mitigate component shortages by selecting and qualifying alternatives or redesigning circuits/sub-assemblies.
• Determine design, process, and test improvements to increase yields and product quality.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet DFx requirements for volume production.
• Lead investigations, coordinate tasks, and direct junior staff as required.
• Support other engineering teams to implement circuit changes during product launches.
