Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Harleysville, PA to design low voltage switchgear assemblies and related systems. You will collaborate with mechanical, production, purchasing, and vendors to develop complete drawings, submittals, and BOM packages, and mentor junior engineers to foster a collaborative culture.

The role requires strong communication skills, experience in electrical design, and ability to work with QA/testing to ensure quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical engineering design for switchgear is required.
• Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Create designs for low voltage switchgear assemblies and related equipment from scratch.
• Collaborate with mechanical, production, purchasing, and vendors to develop drawings, submittals and BOM packages.
• Work with QA and Testing to develop testing plans.
• Follow and improve standard design processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Provide support to project management, production and sales.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote teamwork.
