Job summary

Mesa Power Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead end-to-end electrical design for utility-scale and industrial power projects. You will coordinate protection, control architectures, and grid interconnections across nationwide deployments.

You will model power systems, oversee HV/MV design, and ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and UL standards while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Graduate degree in electrical/power engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of related electrical/power engineering experience; PE license preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Lead protection coordination and power system studies using ETAP/SKM.
• Design low/medium-voltage distribution and paralleling switchgear.
• Guide grid-interconnection studies and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
