Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support power generation and energy infrastructure projects from FEED through EPC, construction, commissioning, and energization in Texas. The role focuses on leading HV/MV electrical design, protection coordination, and grid integration, with exposure to ETAP/PSCAD and an emphasis on reliability and safety across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years in power generation, renewables, or industrial power systems.
Strong HV/MV, protection, and grid integration experience.
Experience with ETAP, PSCAD, or similar.
FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning experience preferred.
BESS, solar, microgrid, or power generation experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead HV/MV electrical system design and engineering.
Develop/review SLDs, protection systems, grounding, and equipment specifications.
Perform/review load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, and arc-flash studies.
Review EPC/vendor deliverables and support construction and commissioning.
