Job summary

ERock in Houston seeks a detailed-oriented electrical engineer to support FEED and EPC projects, focusing on microgrid reliability as a service. You will review designs, develop configuration baselines, and coordinate with project teams in a hybrid office setting.

The role requires a strong background in MV/LV systems, ETAP modeling, and NEC/IEEE standards, with 15–20 years experience and a collaborative mindset for multi-project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline.
• 15–20 years combined experience in electrical and project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV power distribution and switchgear.
• Familiarity with NEC, ANSI/NEMA, and IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end design and engineering development activities.
• Define electrical scope, design criteria, and BODs.
• Support conceptual layouts, one-lines, and sizing.
• Evaluate alternatives to optimize performance and cost.
