Job summary

ExecuSource is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for the Salt Lake City area. The role focuses on designing power system facilities, coordinating construction, operation and maintenance of electric power distribution, and developing equipment specifications.

You will prepare drawings, contractor scope documents, and ensure conformance with safety standards while engaging with client engineers and maintenance teams. Hybrid schedule with 3–4 days in the office and wide project responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PEC firm experience.
• Experience with medium/low-voltage distribution equipment.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/ANSI/NEMA/NFPA.
• Onsite plant project experience with minimal supervision.
• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design power system facilities and equipment and coordinate construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations, and distribution systems and equipment.
• Develop conceptual layouts and sketches to drive efficient design on a project-by-project basis.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of electrical engineering projects.
• Develop equipment specifications
• Develop construction specifications and contractor scope of work documents
• Direct/prepare drawings and specify equipment and materials for construction and installation
• Inspect installations for conformance with design, specs and safety standards
• Produce one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layouts, motor schematics, loop sheets, conduit routing and contractor scope docs
• Work with grounding requirements (high resistance, building and isolated grounding)
