Job summary

FootBridge is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive design of industrial electrical systems across projects from facility improvements to large EPC/EPCM assignments. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong NEC/ANSI/NEMA/NFPA knowledge, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in onsite settings in Utah.

You will design medium- and low-voltage distribution, develop specs, review field installations, and mentor engineers and technicians throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems in industrial, manufacturing, or consulting environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, grounding, and electrical systems
• Develop conceptual designs, equipment specifications, and construction scope documents
• Prepare engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, wiring and interconnection drawings, panel layouts, motor control schematics, loop sheets, cable and conduit routing drawings.
• Support project planning, scheduling, execution, startup, and commissioning activities
• Review field installations to ensure compliance with design requirements, safety standards, and applicable codes
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on assigned projects
