Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power generation, relay settings, plant facilities design, and microgrid clients. This role supports design across power plants, microgrids, and distribution systems, with emphasis on schematic wiring, code compliance, and interdisciplinary coordination.

The position requires a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, and 8+ years of relevant experience, along with proficiency in ETAP or SKM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
• 8+ years of relevant electrical design experience
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
• Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project and industry needs

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and power distribution with medium/low voltage systems
• Design schematic and wiring diagrams; prepare equipment specifications
• Prepare reports; determine code requirements; perform design computations
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas as necessary
• Manage a design budget and schedule
• Develop engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform and check engineering calculations
• Size, select, and specify electrical equipment; coordinate with vendors
• Conduct project field site visits
