The candidate should have experience in the utility-scale power and renewable energy industry, capable of leading teams on power generation design projects, including supporting traditional Owner's Engineering roles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power generation and distribution, renewable energy, protection and motor control design, power system studies, construction and equipment specification development, and balance of plant designs such as raceway, lighting, and grounding systems. Interest and experience in renewables and battery energy storage systems (BESS) are highly desired. Responsibilities include mentoring young engineers, managing client relationships, and leading marketing activities such as proposal writing, fee estimation, and work breakdown structure development. Significant design experience with power plant systems is required.
