Job summary

Williams in Houston seeks an Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and optimization of electrical systems powering critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. You will drive automation, real-time monitoring, energy storage, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and project delivery.

The role requires ABET-accredited EE degree with 8 years of experience, travel 25%–50%, and potential PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university with eight years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems for pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
• Integrate automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Implement arc flash mitigation and fault detection to protect personnel and ensure reliability.
• Provide expert power distribution, electrical schematics, and layouts for new and upgraded facilities.
• Manage projects from concept to completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
