Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance and reliability of utility systems and buildings. You will lead project execution plans, design electrical infrastructure, and collaborate with contractors to optimize reliability and cost.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and strong knowledge of NFPA70E, NEC, and related standards. The role supports hybrid work arrangements in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• Experience in electrical/plant utility system design, including standby, emergency, UPS, grounding, and LV distribution.
• Familiarity with electrical codes (NFPA70E, NEC, NEMA, IEEE, UL, LEED).
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and coordinate with contractors and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering for utility systems and buildings.
• Provide technical oversight for project execution plans and studies for equipment installations and replacements.
• Develop detailed designs to support capital investments and electrical infrastructure expansion.
• Review construction specifications and collaborate with contractors to optimize cost and reliability.
• Lead or co-lead engineering projects from planning through completion and manage resources.
• Support RCFA investigations and implement improvements to asset reliability.
