Job summary

ITAC, a nationwide design firm, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Lead in the Chester, VA area to drive electrical development for moderately complex projects. You will lead a small design team and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

The role requires 15+ years of electrical engineering experience, a PE license, and proficiency with AutoCAD and power system analysis tools. Onsite work is expected at this time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with power system modelling and analysis software.
• Ability to lead a small staff of designers/junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform electrical engineering activities for projects of moderate size and complexity.
• Design and develop electrical documentation (equipment specs, plans, schematics).
• Lead design reviews and resolve technical design conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and project requirements.
