Job summary

ITAC is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to lead piping design efforts for complex capital projects in a collaborative environment. You'll work with multi-discipline teams to optimize designs and ensure compliance with ASME codes, with opportunities to travel to project sites.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license, and 7+ years of design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and piping software like CADWorx/Plant 3D/NavisWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE required for the role.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in design engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and piping design software.
• Experience with process piping systems for power generation, chemicals, or food & beverage industries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping engineering effort for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline team to optimize piping design within project constraints.
• Develop piping design criteria for all project stages.
• Interpret regulations, codes, and industry standards to ensure compliance and good engineering practices.
• Travel to client sites to collect field dimensions and support projects.
