Job summary

Futures Consulting, LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead design on commercial and institutional projects. The role features a hybrid schedule with one in-office day per week, and offers a base around $140K plus bonus potential.

You will oversee electrical systems design, collaborate with architects and MEP teams, and mentor engineers while ensuring QA/QC through design and construction.

Qualifications

• Active PE license.
• 10+ years in commercial building design.
• Experience at U.S. MEP consulting firms working with architects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and a stable, long-term work history.
• Experience with leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for commercial and institutional buildings.
• Design power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Run QA/QC and manage projects from design through construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical and plumbing engineers, contractors and clients.
