Job summary

DDS Engineering & Surveying, LLP (DDSE) seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to serve as the electrical technical lead for gas distribution and RNG/LNG facility projects. The role will lead EI&C deliverable reviews, provide electrical engineering judgment, and oversee design from development through construction.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in utility/industrial electrical design, strong power distribution expertise, and NEC/NFPA 70 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program is required.
• Active Professional Engineer license required; ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead PE review and technical oversight of electrical, instrumentation, and controls deliverables for gas distribution facilities and RNG/LNG projects.
• Serve as electrical SME on client-facing calls, design reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Provide direction on one-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding plans, and associated electrical documentation.
• Prepare and review electrical calculations and analyses (load, voltage drop, short circuit, sizing).
• Mentor junior staff and help establish design, review, and checking practices.
