Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE, to oversee electrical design solutions as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for large commercial projects and integrated project teams.

You will mentor engineers, prepare study reports and drawings, ensure NEC compliance, manage budgets with the Project Manager, and travel 10–20% to job sites as needed. You will coordinate with AHJ and other disciplines, and contribute to QA reviews and client communications.

Qualifications

Baccalaureate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
Five years' experience post PE license.
Experience with the design of large commercial projects.
Demonstrate working knowledge of the NEC.
Effective written, oral and presentation communication skills.
Clean Driving Record.
Detail oriented and able to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct electrical engineering of projects per best practices and NEC compliance.
Assist Project Manager with budgets, execution plans, cost estimates and schedules.
Execute electrical engineering tasks within budget, schedule and quality.
Prepare study reports, drawings and specifications that may be stamped and signed.
Prepare addendums, PRs and SIs for projects.
Mentor Electrical Engineers, Designers and BIM/CAD Technicians.
Attend client meetings and prepare notes.
Coordinate communications with project team, clients and AHJ.
