Job summary

Ashton North LLC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to serve as a technical authority for complex commercial infrastructure and building systems in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes leadership across the project lifecycle and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10–15 years of engineering design and project management experience in MEP and Fire Prevention for commercial sector.
• Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, calculations, drawings, and specs for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee integration of electrical systems with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, structural, environmental).
• Perform quality control reviews and provide engineering oversight during construction including site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior staff, collaborate with teams and clients, manage schedules, resources and budgets.
