Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E.) to serve as a technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems. Location supports relocation assistance and a hybrid work arrangement.

This role leads design, calculations, and drawings; oversees system integration with multidisciplinary teams; drives quality control and construction oversight; and mentors junior engineers while managing schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) credential required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10–15 years of engineering design and project management experience in MEP and Fire Prevention for commercial sector.
• Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, calculations, drawings, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee integration of electrical systems with civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Perform QC reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide site engineering oversight during construction.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
