Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E.) in Houston, TX, to serve as a technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems.

This role offers relocation assistance and a path for technical leadership across projects on a national scale. Responsibilities include leading design efforts, system integration, and QC oversight, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, technical development, detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee integration of electrical systems with civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Perform quality control reviews at key milestones and provide engineering oversight during construction, including site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
