Job summary

Mid-South Engineering in Hot Springs, AR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to a growing team focused on heavy industrial projects and power distribution design. You will coordinate with Civil/Structural and Mechanical disciplines and support project delivery from concept through start-up.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of experience, plus PE registration or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility).
• Experience in heavy industrial environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal preparation and scope development.
• Undertake engineering, designing, and technical tasks to facilitate delivery of heavy industrial projects.
• Manage project delivery across all phases, from concept to start-up, including construction and commissioning support.
• Conduct calculations, studies, and reports (grounding, lighting protection, load studies, arc flash); develop equipment specifications; collaborate with other disciplines and provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
