Job summary

UTEC, Acteon's Geo-services unit, is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer in Houston to lead the design, integration, commissioning, and lifecycle support of electrical and control systems for offshore and subsea operations.

This role covers design through field deployment, collaborating with mechanical, controls, and operations teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant solutions across NEC, IEC, NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in offshore, subsea, marine, or industrial automation environments.
• Experience designing and integrating subsea equipment, marine electrical systems, and vessel interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities for PROD systems, upgrades, and field support projects.
• Develop and review electrical deliverables: schematics, wiring diagrams, power system analyses, procurement docs.
• Design and integrate subsea power systems and vessel interfaces; support commissioning, FAT, SAT.
