PSEG Nuclear seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer within Engineering Services to act as the corporate SME for electrical distribution systems, offsite power reliability, and regulatory requirements at Salem and Hope Creek. This role provides governance, oversight, and technical leadership to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with FERC, INPO, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of experience in electrical distribution, protection schemes, and regulatory requirements related to FERC and INPO for offsite power reliability.
• Minimum 5 years of nuclear power plant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must meet Nuclear requirements for unescorted site access.
• Compliance with 10 CFR 810 is required.
• A valid Real ID or alternate documentation is required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and advance deep technical expertise in electrical distribution and related plant systems.
• Provide governance, oversight, and technical leadership for reliability and regulatory compliance at Salem and Hope Creek.
• Lead and coordinate complex engineering analyses and technical issue resolution beyond site capabilities.
• Represent PSEG Nuclear by influencing technical decision making at the industry level.
• Provide equipment reliability oversight during refueling outages and support outage readiness and external assessments.
• Benchmark industry best practices and incorporate lessons learned into programs and processes.
• Mentor and guide engineering staff.
• Support Emergency Preparedness Program.
